Your team is invited to play in the
Sixteenth
Annual Women's Hockey Club of Toronto (WHCT) Spring Recreational
Tournament. In 2010 the tournament will take place Friday,
April 23, 2010 to Sunday, April 25, 2010.
Last year the tournament was a great success
with 20 women's recreational teams participating, 9 from our own
league and 11 from surrounding areas. This year we have ice time for
20 teams. We hope to field 11 or 12 teams from our own league. In
order to make the level of play more consistent with the
recreational nature of our league, we have established a list of
entry criteria for outside teams.
The cost is $450 for WHCT teams and $550 for outside teams
(Canadian funds!). US teams are
more than welcome! We are playing at
Moss Park and North
Toronto Memorial arenas. Three games per team are guaranteed.
There will be both a consolation and championship playoff rounds.
Teams will be accepted on a first come first served basis, upon
receiving your team payment in full. As is regular W.H.C.T.
league play, Hockey Canada and WHCT rules will apply. Neckguards and
CSA-approved full face masks and helmets are mandatory. Body contact
and slapshots are not permitted. This is NOT an OWHA sanctioned
tournament, but players who play on OWHA registered teams may participate.

Please complete the team roster form,
registration and release forms (please
copy as many as necessary as we require one from each player) and
return them along with your team fee, by Friday, March 5, 2010,

should be made payable to the W.H.C.T.)
