For the playoffs, replacement goalies will be selected by a random draw from those goalies willing to act as a replacement. The team rep of the team which needs a goalie should contact a W.H.C.T. Collective member as soon as possible and a random draw will be arranged.

2. If a goalie has not arrived by the start of their game, a team has two options:

a) if the goalie is expected to show for the game, a team can play with six (6) skaters until the goalie arrives.

b) if the goalie is not expected to show, you may have a player from your own team play the goalie position, but she must then play the entire game as goaltender.

W.H.C.T. TIE-BREAKING RULES

ROUND ROBIN GAMES

1. If TWO teams are tied and if the two teams played each other in the Round Robin, the team that beat the other team will place higher.

2. If TWO teams are tied for total points in the Round Robin and they did not play each other, or if they tied each other during their Round Robin match, or if THREE or more teams are tied for total points, the following scheme will be used to break the ties and determine who places higher:

a) Fewest goals against in total round robin games

b) Least penalty minutes in total round robin games

c) Goals for minus goals against in total round robin games. *Please note that there is a goal differential cap of +4 allowed in any given game, not matter what the final score of the game is - i.e. the score could be 9-1 but will be counted at a +4.

d) Earliest goal in any round robin game

e) Random pick of a team from a hat

QUARTER/SEMI/CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS

1. If any of these games are tied at the end of regular play, there will be a five minute stop-time sudden victory overtime period (time permitting, at the discretion of the W.H.C.T. Collective, referees and the arena staff).

2. If the teams are still tied at the end of the overtime, or if time does not permit overtime, there will be a shoot-out round. Three players from each team listed on the game sheet before the game begins will shoot. A player from each team will shoot simultaneously. The team with the most goals at the end of this round will win.

3. If the score is still tied after the first round, three new shooters will be chosen. The first unanswered goal will win.

4. If the score is still tied, new shooters will shoot, one by one, until there is an unanswered goal.

5. A player serving a penalty at the end of overtime may not participate in the shoot-out.
